The Eastern Kurdistan Defense Units or YRK (Kurdish: Yekîneyên Parastina Rojhilatê Kurdistan) is the male armed wing of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), and has been engaged in an armed conflict with the Iranian authorities since 2004.
