Edmund "Ed" Hajim (born 1936) is an American Philanthropist and businessman, who was the CEO of several investment management firms, and chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of Rochester[1]. In 2008 he gave the largest single gift in the history of the University of Rochester[2] [3].
Hajim was born in Los Angeles and spent several years of his youth in foster homes. In 1954 attended the University of Rochester before receiving an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1964.[4] He has written two memoir books on his life experiences.
