Beginnings[edit]
Edendale Primary School was opened on 29 May 1909.[1]
Demographics[edit]
Edendale School was last evaluated by the ERO in October 2019.[6]
Of the 678 students that attend the school, the report stated that 51% were boys and 49% were girls. The ethnic composition is as follows: 39% NZ European, 23% Indian, 7% Chinese, 6% Māori, 6% Pacific groups, 4% other Asian and 15% other ethnic groups.[6]
