EdgeWave, Inc. is an American cyber security company based out of San Diego, California, that specializes in Military-Grade cyber security to protect organizations from advanced cyber attacks. The company was founded in 1995 as St. Bernard Software, and has operated under the name EdgeWave since 2011.[1]
Technology[edit]
EdgeWave provides Enhanced Precision Integrated Cyber Capabilities (EPIC), a cyber operations approach adapted from the National Defense environment to the civilian commercial sector. EdgeWave's philosophy centers around the fusion of machine, threat and human intelligence to identify cyber attacks and integrate defenses in real-time to protect organizations from the most sophisticated dangers.[2]

- 1995: St. Bernard Software was founded, developing Open File Manager[3] software for backup packages that insures the protection of data in motion
- 2000: St. Bernard acquires Internet Products and enters the web filtering market with iPrism Web Security
- 2003: Red Condor, developer of advanced email security, was established
- 2010: St. Bernard acquires Red Condor and rebrands product as ePrism Email Security[4][5]
- 2011: St. Bernard renamed EdgeWave; embraces Net Promoter Score to ensure Customer Service excellence[1][6]
- 2012: EdgeWave introduces EdgeWave Mobile and EdgeWave Social
- 2013: EdgeWave introduces EdgeWave Advanced Web Gateway
- 2015: EdgeWave raises $2 million in Series-A funding[7]
