Edmund Lee
Edmund Lee is an American journalist, editor, and screenwriter. He is currently an Assistant Editor on The New York Times Trust team, where he leads transparency and standards initiatives.[1] Lee previously worked at Recode, Bloomberg News, Businessweek, and The Village Voice, and is a contributor to CNBC.[2] He is also the co-writer of the independent crime film West 32nd (2007).[3]
Early life and education
Lee attended St. Paul's School (New Hampshire) and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from New York University.[4]
Career
Early journalism and editorial work
Lee began his journalism career at The Village Voice, where his coverage of New York’s Korean-American underground later inspired his screenwriting. He subsequently worked at Women's Wear Daily, W Magazine, Ad Age and Bloomberg News, blending cultural and business reporting.
