Edmundo R Alarcon (born June 1, 1979), in Provo, Utah. Alarcon began his early rise in notoriety at age 19 for his role and work with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) as a "Mormon missionary".[1] Alarcon gained access to celebrities and Hollywood elite through his work with The Walt Disney Company and as a VIP host and historic Tour Guide.[2] Through connections made in the entertainment industry Alarcon was able to gain positions in professional wrestling entertainment and a role in the movie Bullet (2014).[3] Alarcon is also recognized for his wide collection of popular culture and movie cars which often appear at charitable events and the Hollywood Christmas Parade.[4]

Missionary service

Alarcon served in the Tokyo Japan South Mission between 1999 and 2001. While in the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC), Alarcon was asked by LDS Church general authority Earl C. Tingey to do an interview for a newspaper article which would expand and explore the idea of Mormons' global ambitions; the article appeared in a Los Angeles Times article titled "The Key to Mormons' Global Goals," by Teresa Watanabe.[1]

Alarcon would spend most of his mission focused on Fuji, Shizuoka, and Hamamatsu. Following in his grandfather's (Edmundo Alarcon Sr) footsteps as a creator for LDS Church Educational System and language learning assistance programs.[5]

Disney

In 2001 Edmundo Alarcon returned to the United States and was quickly hired to work for the Walt Disney Company. At the Walt Disney Company, Edmundo was quickly promoted to work as a VIP Host for numerous Celebrities and Foreign dignitaries while working for the historic Disneyland Guest Relations Department 741 as a supervisor and a Guided Tour developer and audio tour technology specialist.[6] In 2004, as a Guided Tour technology specialist for the Disneyland Resort, he was able to develop the Guided Tour Audio System that would allow for the live mix of music and prerecorded voiceover to interact with a live guided tour special, within all the confines of a small bag and the power of a 9-volt battery. Edmundo has also been covered and featured in numerous Television and Magazine articles all over the world as goodwill ambassador and VIP host for Walt Disney Company’s elite.[4]

Wrestling

In 2001, while still at the Walt Disney Company, Edmundo had the opportunity to meet and work with David Marquez and started a brief affiliation with New Japan Pro Wrestling USA (NJPW USA)'s TV show[7] and the NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Through further connections made at the NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Edmundo also had the opportunity to work with Marcus Shirock and gained a walk on role in the movie Bullet (2014 film) starring Danny Trejo.[3]

Personal life

Edmundo Alarcon currently lives in Southern California. Having earned his degree from the California State University, Fullerton in Marketing and Entertainment and Tourism. In 2005, Edmundo Alarcon became an entered apprentice Freemason in the West Covina Masonic Lodge 446,[8] and became a master mason in 2012. In 2013 he affiliated with the Pomona Masonic Lodge 246 and has been an active member in Freemasonry and charitable giving in both communities. As an avid car collector, Edmundo soon affiliated with the movie car collectors club known as Star Cars Central created by Nate Truman. Currently, Edmundo is the owner of Herbie, the Love Bug, The A-Team Van, and The Mystery Machine.
