Edward B. Kurpis

Edward B. Kurpis, or Ed Kurpis, is an American media executive and academic. He is a co-founder of the global business news channel CNBC, founding Vice President of Finance for NBC, and has served on the board of directors of A&E, Court TV (now TruTV), American Movie Classics, Bravo, and several regional sports networks, as well as senior vice president of finance for BNN Bloomberg. Kurpis is also an author, artist, and CEO of the New York Institute for Creativity. He is now a professor at Baruch College.[1][2][3]
Kurpis received his bachelor's degree and MBA both from the University of Michigan.
