Ekpon

Ekpon is one of the thirty-five clans in Esanland[1] located in Igueben Local Government Area of Nigeria.[2] The community, which falls within the central part of Edo State, is largely an agrarian society. The Ekpon community consists of five quarters namely; Eguare, Igoduma, Ogbe, Ikpudu, and Eku. These quarters are all governed by an Onojie.[3]
