The El Evangelio Cambia.[1] (EEC) is an international organization of Christian humanitarian aid founded by Javier Bertucci that is concerned with serving the needed, and the teaching of Jesus Christ's principles and values to restore society. It was established in the 2007, and is headquartered in Valencia, Venezuela. EEC has presence in 35 countries with more than 110,000 volunteers,[2] including Panama, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Spain.

History[edit]

According to Rebecca Bertucci,Javier Bertucci's wife, on YouTube the original activities, before EEC was formed, started in 1996 when they serve the Tinaquillo town while they carried their first one year old baby Raquel Bertucci [3].

In 2006 Javier Bertucci, who was the principal pastor of Maranatha Valencia, now Maranatha Venezuela, with a group of church members used to go on Saturdays to the most needy neighbors of Carabobo to evangelize and serve them. Bertucci felt that God gave him a vision to carry these activities on all Venezuela and in 2007 EEC was founded as a program to teach christian values. Due to the initial success, the EEC program started to be adopted by many Venezuelan christian churches; starting out with more than 50 churches from the Maranatha franchised.

In 2011, was announced on YouTube that in four years of EEC implementation they reached more than 2,000,000 people who received the message of Jesus Christ and were served by the social service events. At that time the number of volunteers from the Maranatha Valencia church were 1,600 [4]

Evangelismo Global (Global Evangelism)[edit]

Originally named Evangelismo Nacional e Internacional (National and International Evangelism).

On 2012, the former EEC CEO, Javier Bertucci, announced on the evangelistic crusade named Vision Kingdom (Visión Reino on YouTube) that on Saturday November 17th, 2012 they were going to do the first national evangelism with different christian denominations in Venezuela. On that day, 100,000 evangelizers of Christ will going to the streets to invite people to receive Jesus without discussing rules or doctrines. They were going to share the gospel of salvation in a practical way to people located in public busy places. At the same time 40,000 prayer intercessors were going to support the evangelizers, asking God/Jesus to allow the people to receive the message of Jesus in their hearts and any person who were physically sick were going to be healed. The working day was going to be between 2 PM to 6 PM to allow people to receive Jesus message and make a confession of faith[5].
The evangelizers were divided in two groups. One group was dedicated to present the gospel person to person; while the other group were doing a street theatrical play (teatro de calle on YouTube), being this the most used and effective way to present the message of salvation. The theatrical plays are available in the YouTube channel of El_Evangelio_Cambia for volunteers to learn.

Bertucci communicated through Video on YouTube, that more than 200,000 Venezuelans received Jesus in just four hours. According to him, these is the biggest in the world, since there are not historical christian registries of similar event. Also he mentioned no event has put together so many different christian denominations to go to the streets for a day to communicate their faith, making it a worldwide record in number of converts.

On September 28th, 2013 started the Global Evangelism (International Evangelism on YouTube) in 17 countries, including: Venezuela, Argentine, Rusia, Aruba, Brazil, USA, Chile, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Spain, Ecuador, and Haiti.
