Electric City Shock SC are an American soccer team playing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), generally considered the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. They are located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Stadium[edit]
They play their home games at University of Scranton's Quinn Athletics Campus, however proposals have been made for the construction of a new professional-grade soccer field across from Scranton High School on land owned by the Scranton School District.[1]
History[edit]
First playing in 2013,[2] The team was officially announced on January 27, 2014, as a National Premier Soccer League expansion, with plans to begin play in the Northeast Region's Keystone Conference later that year.[3] In 2015 they played a 10-game schedule from July to September.[4]
