Electric Turtles are an international rock duo from San Francisco and Leipzig.
Biography[edit]
Electric Turtles was founded in winter 2016 in Rügen.[1]
The band stared to tour frequently in 2017, supporting acts like Melt Banana,[2] LaBrassBanda,[3] The Picturebooks [4]and Black Lung[5] in various german cities. The German indie label, Undressed Records quickly became aware of the duo and signed them exclusively in mid-2017,[6] they toured in Israel supporting the Swiss blues musician Reverend Beat-Man in autunm 2017.[7] In summer 2018, they were part of the lineup of the Menashe Forest Festival in Israel, playing with acts like Noga Erez.[8]
In autumn 2018, they released their debut album Birth via Undressed Records, that included mostly songs from the four EPs they released before.[9]
