Elena Sergeevna Grin (Russian: Елена Сергеевна Гринь; born 30 December 1987) is a Russian scientist, lawyer and public figure. PhD in Law, Associate professor, Deputy Head of the Department of Intellectual Rights at Kutafin Moscow State Law University. Member of the All-Russia People's Front.
Early life and education[edit]
She was born on December 30, 1987 in Mozhaisk[1].
Graduated from the Kutafin Moscow State Law University. In 2012 she defended her thesis for a candidate of legal sciences[2].
In 2013, she completed an internship at the Rutgers School of Law-Newark in copyright and patent law.
Career[edit]
Since 2012, he has been teaching at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and the Department of Intellectual Rights, since 2015 he has been the Deputy Head of the Department of Intellectual Rights[3].
Author of more than 120 scientific papers on the topic of law and intellectual property, including monographs and textbooks. Hirsch index - 23[4].
He is a co-founder of the Legal Support Center "Mom in the Right", which provides free legal assistance to women[5].
Since 2016, he has been participating in the work of expert advisory councils for improving legislation in the State Duma, and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Court for Intellectual Property Rights[6].
Since 2018, he has been a member of the Council for the Development of Legal Protection of Design at Rospatent and a member of the expert group under the Government of the Russian Federation on the national project "Demography".
Since 2019 - Arbitrator of the Supreme Arbitration Court at CCI France Russia.
Since 2020, he has been an arbitrator at the National Center for Sports Arbitration.
Since 2021 - Project Manager of the All-Russian Popular Front "Legal Education of Citizens"[7].
