Elii Geba
Elii Geba is a professional session singer, music producer and vocalist, best known for her collaboration with Les Hemstock and Paul Van Dyk, "Babylon". She hails from Transylvania, where she is a Contessa. She is now based in Chelsea, south-west London.
Her vocal and musical style is best described as erotic electro fused with haunting vocals and mystic drum rhythms. Her influences range from Lisa Gerrard, through Natasha Atlas to the very modern Goldfrapp. She describes her music as "dark gothic electro", and as such it is slightly genre-bending.
Elii Geba worked with Transglobal Underground, Loop Guru, Jah Wobble, Invaders of the Heart, Youth, Alex Patterson (The Orb), Andy Weatherall and William Orbit. She has also been strongly involved with music for films, TV and documentaries and worked with producers Les Bonner and Mark Lawton.
Her music can be heard on her website: [1]
