Elite Techno Groups is an India-based automotive company. This is the first in India to provide training to engineering and non-engineering graduates about automobile components, working, assembly, and designing of Vehicles (two-wheelers, four-wheelers, go-kart, ATV, F1, etc.).[1] This is to give them a feel for the real automobile industry and to minimize the gap between the knowledge of automotive professionals and enthusiastic students.[2] It is an initiative taken by Himanshu Arora and Khushal Singh in 2011, the Founder and CEO of Elite Techno Groups. The company has its own R&D division for researching and developing new technology related to engine performance, Brake, Clutch, Transmission etc. ETG also organizes the vehicle racing event – Elite Racing[3] every year at the all-India level, in which thousands of students from various engineering colleges participate.
Elite Racing is a subsidiary of Elite Techno Groups which hosts racing events in different categories such as Go-Kart racing, All Terrain Vehicle races, and Formula1 prototype races.
Automotive research
- Length optimization – Research is going on to calculate the length and develop an intake manifold runner which provides optimized results between performance and economy
- Valve timing optimization system – ETG is doing research to find out the exact valve angle and crankshaft rotation angle at which the pressure inside the cylinder and in the manifold will be nearly the same, to find the exact angle at which to close the valve for maximum efficiency.
- Centrifugal clutch – Research is ongoing in designing and developing a clutch for best performance according to racing parameters.
- Knuckle design - Specifically for a particular racing vehicle – light in weight, aesthetically pleasing, and designed for performance vehicles only.
- Hybrid vehicles – ETG is developing low-budget hybrid vehicles with higher efficiency and commercial cost.
- I.C Engine tuning setup - ETG is researching how to develop a commercial engine tuning lab setup to increase BHP.
