Elizabeth B. Jenkins

Elizabeth B. Jenkins is an American writer of popular spiritual books including the international bestseller The Return of the Inka: A Journey of Initiation and INKA Prophecies for 2012. She is a psychotherapist, cultural investigator and teacher of the Inca tradition.

Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota in 1983, and a Master of Arts degree in Integral Counseling Psychology graduating in 1987 from the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco. She travelled to Peru in 1988 where she met Juan Nunez del Prado, an expert on the Andean Mystical Tradition. In 1990 she received the Hatun Qarpay initiation ritual. From 1992 to 1996, she worked under Juan Nunez del Prado initiating groups in Cuzco, Peru.

Writings and recordings[edit]

Jenkins has written four books, two of which are "spiritual autobiographies" which chronicle her journey into the Andes to study with the Q'ero people. She was also one of 30 contributors to Transforming Through 2012 – a resource guide for navigating the new millennium.
