Elizabeth Terzakis

Elizabeth Terzakis is an American educator, writer and political activist. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia and a Master of Arts in English from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She is currently a professor of English and reading at Cañada College in San Mateo County, California.

Terzakis is a frequent contributor to the International Socialist Review and has also served as an editor of "Fourteen Hills", a review published twice yearly by the SFSU creative writing department.[1] In 2009 her remarks along with ones by Dave Zirin were the focus of the Public Radio Exchange audio piece "Women in Sports: Separate & Not Equal".[2]
