Ellary Porterfield (born June 5, 1989) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her role as Terry "Tuff" Ryan in the 2005 film The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio and for her role as Ki Swan in the webseries Video Game High School.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Ellary Porterfield was born in Bend, Oregon on June 5, 1989 to Walt and Traci Porterfield.[2] Porterfield was discovered at a talent competition in 2001 where she was doing an impression of her seventh grade teacher.[2]
She graduated from Duke University in 2011 with a major in International Studies. [3]
Career[edit]
Porterfield has participated in three television pilots for both NBC and CBS.[2][4] Her most notable role was in the 2005 film The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio.[1]
She also starred in the CW teenage drama Hidden Palms as Liza Witter.[2]
Porterfield then took on a role in the 2008-released film Sugar, playing Anne Higgins, the Christian daughter in an Iowan family who is attracted to a minor-league baseball player from the Dominican Republic.[2]
She starred as Ki Swan on the webseries, Video Game High School.
Personal life[edit]
Porterfield is a vegetarian.[2]
