Emaze is a cloud-based online presentation and content creation software company.

History[edit]

Emaze (formerly Visual Software Systems, Ltd.) was founded in 2009 by Motti Nisani, Arie Livshin and Shai Schwartz. In May 2013, Emaze raised $800,000 of funding from TheTime in a seed round.[1] In November 2014, Emaze raised $2,000,000 in a Series A round led by FirstTime Venture Capital.[2][3]

Products and Features[edit]

HTML5 Editor

Emaze is a cloud-based HTML5 software where users can create presentations, websites, blogs, e-cards and photo albums. Content can be worked on individually, or users can choose to collaborate with others. Emaze offers hundreds of 2D and 3D templates.[4]

Import PowerPoint

With the Import PowerPoint tool, users may import an existing Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to Emaze, select an Emaze template, and transfer the contents of the original presentation into an Emaze presentation in minutes.[5]

Websites

In 2017, Emaze launched a series of new tools and templates for users to create and share their own websites.[6]

Automaze

In 2017, Emaze released Automaze, their free automatic website generator.[7] Existing Emaze users can log in to their account, choose a website template, and connect their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts. Based on their social media content, Emaze then automatically generates a complete website for them that is ready to publish.[8] Users can publish their website right away, or make any edits and changes in the Emaze Editor.[9]
