Emerald Isle Community Singers
The Emerald Isle Community Singers (ECS) are a Montserratian musical ensemble, formed in 1971. Their repertoire includes the folk songs, dances and stories of Montserrat, and their primary goal is to research, collect and preserve Montserratian folk heritage. They have performed at the Seeds of Change exhibition in Washington D.C., the Cartagena Festival of Music and at several CARIFESTA festivals. In addition, the ECS has recorded four albums and worked several famous performers, while touring through the Americas.
