Emily Hofstede Koski is an American businesswoman and politician who is the member-elect of the Minneapolis City Council from the 11th Ward. Born in Minneapolis, she is the daughter of former Mayor of Minneapolis Albert Hofstede, who served from 1974 to 1975 and from 1978 to 1979. She will be sworn in to the Minneapolis City Council on January 3, 2022.[1]
Koski opposed rent controls and proposals to replace the city's troubled police force with a Department of Public Safety.[2]
