Early career[edit]
Ramsey progressed through the Manchester United youth system but departed the club in 2017 due to the limited first team opportunities available.[1]
Liverpool[edit]
In 2017, Ramsey joined Liverpool as an understudy to first choice goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain. She was named as an unused substitute on four occasions as Liverpool finished sixth in the 2017–18 FA WSL season.[2][3][4][5]
Manchester United[edit]
On 1 July 2018, Ramsey returned to her former club and joined Manchester United as a first team player ahead of their first season in the FA Women's Championship.[1][6]
International career[edit]
Ramsey has represented England at Under-17 and Under-19 level. On 24 October 2016, Ramsey made her international debut for England Under-17s in a 14–0 victory against Lithuania.[7] She made a total of four appearances for the Under-17s, while also being named as an unused substitute six times.[8]
Almost exactly a year later, Ramsey represented England Under-19s for the first time in a 9–0 win over Kazakhstan.[9] She went on to become the first choice goalkeeper for the Under-19s, and in June 2018 was named in an extended 35-player squad for the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup.[10]
