"Emma DD" (Emma Davidson Dillon) is an LA based British singer/songwriter. Her cutting edge lyrics and innovative concepts, combined with brilliant melodies, have established her as one of the brightest new song writing talents around. Emma moves seamlessly between genres and is critically acclaimed for her work; most notably receiving praise from the likes of the Grammy Award.[1], Complex[2], F Word Magazine[1] and Rolling Stone[3].
Career[edit]
Born in London, Emma DD began her songwriting career writing such music as Flo Rida's "Dancer"[4], Snakehips "Falling"[5][6], Tom Walkers "Angels"[7], Olivia O'Brien's "Fuck Feelings"[8] and Chance the Rapper's "Prisoner”[9].
Following a series of successful hit songs, Emma signed to Warner Chappell Music USA[10]
Outside of songwriting Emma DD is also known for being one half of the Alternative R&B duo, WESLEE with producer Josh Grant. Who's work has been featured in Grey's Anatomy.[11], FX (TV channel)'s "You're The Worst" and more.
The duo supported Jessie Ware at Annie Mac[12] Presents in February [13] and released their first EP "9F"; following up with singles "London Love", "Something Bout You", "Venus" and "Peaches".
Their first critically acclaimed single "Gassed" has received over 4 million worldwide streams to date.
