Emotional Pet Support

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Sometimes, one may mistakenly refer to an Emotional Support Animal as an Emotional Pet Support, an Emotional Support Pet, an Emotional Support Dog.

Mental illnesses are becoming more and more common as more Americans suffer from mental illnesses and there are fewer treatment options available to them.[1] This is especially true in college campuses.[2] Prescribing Emotional Support Animal letters are becoming a more and more important source of treatment because Emotional Support Animals and pets help treat people with anxiety and other mental illnesses.[3] Emotional Support Animals are sometimes referred to as Emotional Support Pets, Emotional Pet Supports, or Emotional Support Dogs. Some psychologists and mental health professionals utilize telepsychology[4][5] to legally diagnose patients online.[6]
