Encounter is the ninth episode of a TV Show. The L force reports to Ryuzaki Lawliet that nothing wrong happened while they were investigating the Yagami and Aizawa households. However, Ryuzaki decides to pose as L, as the general public believes that L isn’t a group, but a single person. When Light Yagami gets home to prepare for the entrance exams which are happening during the next day, Light is happy that he finds out the cameras were gone, so Light eats an apple in celebration. Then, it cuts to the next day. Light’s entrance exams to university was today, so Light walked towards his school. Before taking his exam, he grabs an apple from the farmers market and enters the building, hinting that he is murdera. During entrance exams, another student, 167 is supposedly writing on the test papers incorrectly, Light notices this bizarre behavior and deducts that 167 is L, he then discovers that student 167 is called Ryuzaki Lawiet, before he can write down his name. The episode ends with Ryuzaki (student 167) meeting Light at Light’s school, and tells Light that he is L.
