Eneba.com Ltd. is an employee-owned global digital marketplace startup that facilitates business-to-consumer and consumer-to-consumer sales in the second-hand video game market. The company has two administration offices, both located in Kaunas, Lithuania.[1]

Eneba now has over 26 million users hailing from United States, Latin America, and Europe.[2] The company uses AI machine learning technology to manage risk, provides a localized browsing experience in 15 languages, and offers a gamified buying experience with a one-click purchase option.[3][4]

History

The company was established in 2018 as a digital video game marketplace, aiming to provide users with a cheap and secure way to acquire video games and services.[5][6]

In January 2019, Eneba established direct partnerships with major game publishers including Konami, CI Games, Daedalic Entertainment, and Team 17.

In February 2020, Eneba's products were included in the price aggregator of the Opera GX browser.

In January 2021, Eneba launched C2C sales for physical gaming goods via courier delivery. This service is currently available in Lithuania and Spain.

In January 2021, Eneba leased a large office building in the Kaunas city center, owned by the Norwegian capital enterprise Inoversa.

Growth

In November 2019, Eneba secured a €2.5 million seed investment from the UK-based venture capital firm InReach Ventures. This was the largest seed investment in Lithuanian history.[7]

In December 2020, Eneba raised $8 million in Series A funding from Practica Capital and InReach Ventures.[8]

Products and services

Eneba distributes digital gaming codes globally. Users can choose from a wide variety of digital products and services available on their dedicated platform and region.[9]

Eneba also facilitates local distribution of physical goods. This recently launched initiative allows buyers and sellers in Spain and Lithuania to purchase and sell used or new physical gaming items.[10]

In both B2C and C2C sales, Eneba acts as an intermediary, ensuring security, speed, and a competitive marketplace for both buyers and sellers.[11]
