Energy Minerals
Energy Minerals are minerals that are used to produce energy. Examples of such minerals are coal and uranium. Energy minerals are commonly known as fuel minerals because they are used as fuel in many applications. Energy minerals can be divided into different categories:
- Coal
- Petroleum and Natural Gas
- Underground Methane Gas
- Geothermal Hot Springs
- Radioactive minerals (Uranium)
