Energy Minerals
Energy Minerals are minerals that are used to produce energy. Examples of such minerals are coal and uranium. The energy minerals are commonly known as fuel minerals because they are used as fuel in many aspects. The energy minerals can be divided into different categories:
- Coal
- Petroleum and Natural Gas
- Underground Methane Gas
- Geothermal Hot Spring
- Radio active minerals (Uranium)
Nepal harbors a huge potential for mineral resources and still to be explored.
