Energy Systems Catapult

The Energy Systems Catapult is a British innovation organisation that develops policy and systems for sustainable energy across the UK.

History

It was founded in April 2015. Catapult centres are developed by Innovate UK in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Structure

It is headquartered in central Birmingham. It has 170 staff in Birmingham and Derby; the East Midlands Hub at Derby opened in 2017 with staff (responsible for whole energy) from the ETI.
