The Chinese/English Journal of Educational Measurement and Evaluation (CEJEME) | 教育测量与评估双语季刊 is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal published by the National Council on Measurement in Education and Beijing Normal University (BNU).[1] The journal is unusual in that all articles appear in both Chinese and English.[2] In addition, all articles are open source.
CEJEME provides a forum for intellectual exchange and leadership on a variety of methodological, ethical, and policy issues of broad relevance to the development of educational measurement and evaluation as a discipline in an international and technology-driven context. The journal publishes original empirical articles that present new approaches to educational measurement and evaluation, as well as review articles that share advances in scholarship and practice between China and the assessment and evaluation communities throughout the world.
The current editors of the journal are Li Cai (UCLA) and Tao Xin (BNU). The editorial board includes members from the US and China. Articles are submitted in the language of the author's choice and, if accepted, translated by journal staff to the other language.
Other journals published by NCME include Educational Measurement: Issues and Practice and the Journal of Educational Measurement.
CEJEME is included in Educational Assessment, Evaluation, and Research Commons, part of Digital Commons, and is indexed by PlumX Metrics.
