EnterOffer is an Australian private technology company that facilitates the buying and selling of online goods by letting users enter an offer. It was founded by Angus Scutt, Ryan Lonstein and Michael Seeff over 2017 - 2018. The technology integrates directly with existing online merchants. It originally generated coupons for accepted offers but has since evolved to processing the transaction directly.

History[edit]

The startup company was founded by Angus Scutt in 2017[1] after an inability to effectively communicate on price with online merchants on a camera. It was originally called Oaklas.

In 2018 EnterOffer received funding from H2 Ventures[2][3]. Ryan Lonstein joined as Chief Technology Officer and founder to further develop the integrated product. Michael Seeff later joined as the third and final founder for the role of Chief Operations Officer.

In 2019 the company evolved its product offering from a coupon system to making offers payment-bound in pursuit of a pricing mechanism more similar to the stock market. It rebranded under the name EnterOffer.

In 2020 EnterOffer launched an online marketplace, allowing shoppers to list products they’re looking to buy rather than sell, with a payment-bound offer attached.

Business Model[edit]

EnterOffer facilitates price offers between merchants and their customers. It integrates with their exisiting online store so that they may let their customers enter an offer on selected products. EnterOffer is best known for working with jewellery merchants but also operates on apparel and furniture stores. The company takes a commission fee on accepted offers.
