Enterprise is a standard HUSS Enterprise model. It came to the park in 1984.
History[edit]
In 1984, Enterprise was the first major thrill flat ride at the park and arrived in the Festival Park along with the Corkscrew) and other rides. In 1998, when Oblivion arrived, Enterprise was repainted and a new theme was applied to fit in with the arrival of the X-Sector. The ride is still in operation to this day, being one of the oldest rides in the park.
Ride experience[edit]
There are many gondolas on the ride with room for two people. The gondola is a cage-shaped carriage connected to the rotating disc by an arm. When the rides starts, the gondola spins round to build up gravitational energy and velocity. Then the arm rises until the riders are vertical and going upside down. After this, the ride slows down, gradually coming to a stop. There are no harnesses on this ride, as the force exerted keeps the rider in place.
