Enterprise Bank is a financial services company based in Lowell, Massachusetts. It has been publicly traded on the NYSE as EBTC since 2005.[1].

History[edit]

Enterprise Bank was founded in 1988 through the vision of George L. Duncan. Headquartered in The Old City Hall in Lowell, Massachusetts, with 24 branch locations throughout the Merrimack Valley and North Central regions of Massachusetts, as well as Southern New Hampshire. For over 25 years, Enterprise Bank has been meeting the financial needs of businesses, professionals, individuals and communities[2].

Community[edit]

Enterprise Bank is a sponsor to many businesses and non-profit organizations. In September 2018, Enterprise was recognized at the Boston Business Journals “Corporate Citizenship Summit” as one of the largest corporate donors in Massachusetts. They were also ranked #3 for the highest average hours volunteered (49.32 per employee) for community service[3].

Enterprise Bank has been recognized as The Boston Globe’s “Top Places to work in Massachusetts” for seven consecutive years. In 2018, they were ranked as the 3rd best place to work among large sized companies.[4]
