Envelope Collective
The Envelope Collective is an ongoing collaborative art project that uses mail as a medium. The Envelope Collective was founded by Garrett Miller and Adam Morse on November 3, 2005. Anyone can send anything to the Envelope Collective; people from all over the world have sent in everything from boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese to handmade paper envelopes.
On April 11, 2006 The Envelope Collective reached 300 submissions. The Envelope Collective is not accepting submissions any longer. Garrett and Adam have graduated from Oberlin College and moved to Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, California.
The Envelope Collective is one of the largest online collectives of Mail art with over 1000 submissions from hundreds of artists.
