History
Equity Bank was founded in 2002 by 23 investors who acquired the former National Bank of Andover in 2003.[1]. Subsequent to the acquisition, the bank’s name was changed to Equity Bank.[2] The bank then expanded into Wichita, KS in 2005[3], Kansas City, MO in 2007[4], western Kansas in 2008[5], Topeka, KS in 2011[6], Missouri in 2012[7], southeastern Kansas in 2015[8], Arkansas in 2016[9], and Oklahoma in 2017[10].
Equity Bank is a $1.6-billion bank with corporate headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, offering commercial loans, consumer banking, mortgage loans, auto loans, and more.[11]
