Erdolo Eromo
Erdolo Eromo is a writer, former UCLA Bruin football player, philanthropist, and the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Client Relations for payvia, an online and mobile payment company.[1][2][3]
Life and career[edit]
Erdolo Eromo was born on July 17, 1981 in Southern Ethiopia and grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.[2] His family immigrated to Los Angeles in 1990 when he was 8 years old.[2]
Eromo was on his high school football team, playing linebacker and safety. While at University of California Los Angeles, he was a safety on the Bruin’s football team.[2][4][5][6][7] Eromo graduated with an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University’s George Graziado School of Business and Management in 1994.[2][3]
Eromo began his career at payvia in a junior position while in graduate school.[2] He is the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Client Relations.[2] He has been credited with a 400 percent increase in payvia’s revenues during 2012.[8][9]
Eromo is involved with building homes, schools and health clinics in his native Ethiopia. He also serves on the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles, Venture, and Santa Barbara Counties.
