Eric Netsch

Eric Raymond Netsch (born July 23, 1992), is an American computer engineer and CEO of the e-commerce app building platform Tapcart.[1]
Early Life and Education[edit]
Netsch was born in Piedmont, CA, the youngest of two children to Robert R. Netsch, an American product management engineer, formerly at Asyst Technologies, and Patricia J. Netsch, an American energy strategist, formerly manager of governmental affairs at Chevron.
After graduating high school in 2010, Netsch ventured to New Zealand where he worked as a laborer at a farm picking apples, returning to Southern California April 2011 he enrolled as an undergraduate at UCLA from 2011-2014 majoring in Computer Science, before dropping out to focus on building his first mobile-based company Mobile First Studios[2].
Career[edit]
As Netsch navigated his way through learning the language of technology he became a creative developer of building websites and mobile apps. His first app, Vogo was created in 2012, which focused on creating 15 second video reviews by consumers of any product, food or establishment they wished to review.
Once Netsch had left UCLA in 2014, he founded and launched his first company, Mobile First Studios,[2] which focused on developing creative and effective mobile digital experiences that ranged from UX/UI, and web and application development.
Though Mobile First Studios[2] was a successful company for Netsch, it brought about the idea and development of Tapcart[3], launched and founded in 2017, an Saas e-commerce app building platform for Shopify users.
In July 2017, Netsch got the attention of Luma Pictures, a visual effects company that was one of Tapcart's initial investors[4].
In March 2018, Amplify, a Los Angeles based pre-seed investment company backed Tapcart[3] [5][6] after being impressed with Netsch and his co-founder Sina Mobasser.
In early 2018, Tapcart[3] became an official ShopifyPlus Partner [7] due largely to the endless efforts of Netsch and Mobasser.
