He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Vemanti Group, a U.S.-based fintech conglomerate operating primarily in Southeast Asian markets, and is the founder and CEO of TrustPay JSC, a Vietnamese payment technology company.
Early life and education
Vuong was born in Cần Thơ, Vietnam. He graduated from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy with a degree in Pharmacy and later obtained a Securities Business Certificate from Can Tho University in 2007.
Career
TrustPay JSC
Vuong founded TrustPay JSC in 2009, a payment solutions company based in Vietnam.[1] The company develops payment products including mobile applications, digital gateways, and prepaid card solutions, partnering with Vietnamese banks.
HVA Investment
In 2018, Vuong became Chairman of the Board at HVA Investment Joint Stock Company, a company listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.[2] He has served in this capacity through multiple terms, including the 2018-2023 period. Under his leadership, HVA Investment focuses on technology and other financial sector investments on the Vietnamese stock market.
Cryptocurrency ventures
Vuong's companies have been involved in cryptocurrency-related businesses in Vietnam. TrustPay developed VNDC, a stablecoin pegged to the Vietnamese đồng, and the ONUS cryptocurrency platform.[3] According to industry sources, ONUS serves over 4.5 million users and offers access to more than 600 digital assets.[4]
VNDC, established through VNDC Holding PTE. LTD. in Singapore, is described as Vietnam's first major stablecoin backed by Vietnamese đồng on a 1:1 ratio.[5]
Vemanti Group
In March 2025, Eric became chairman of Vemanti Group, a U.S.-listed fintech company after completing the acquisition of a controlling stake in XPLOR Technology Pte. Ltd., the Singapore-based parent company of the ONUS Pro cryptocurrency exchange. As part of this transaction, Vuong was appointed Chairman of Vemanti Group's Board of Directors.[6] Vemanti Group (OTCPK: VMNT) is a diversified technology holding company focused on emerging markets in Southeast Asia.

Vuong serves as Director of FUNDGO Innovation Startup Investment Fund, where he focuses on training and supporting startups in their entrepreneurial journey.[7][8]
