Erik Zachary (born September 11, 1991 in Bartlett, Illinois) is an American TV and Radio personality. He is known for hosting and his celebrity interviews. Erik is currently a co-host on MTV's official revival of TRL (Total Request Live).[1][2][3][4]  He is also a syndicated radio host for iHeart Radio, with shows on Kiss FM Chicago, Z100 New York, The Bull Sacramento and Boston's WBWL (FM).[5][6]

Early career[edit]

Erik began his career as a model and then switched to acting at the age of 7. Erik went into radio broadcasting in 2010 and began working with iHeartMedia in 2012. He has interviewed numerous celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, DJ Khalid, Jada Pinkett Smith, Robert Downey Jr, Kevin Hart (Think Like a Man 2), Brendon Urie (Panic! At the Disco), Chelsea Handler, Hailee Steinfeld, Zara Larsson and many more.

In July 2017, it was announced that Erik would co-host of MTV's official revival of TRL (Total Request Live).[7][8][9][10]

Education[edit]

Erik attended Bartlett High School (Illinois) where he hosted many school functions and participated in the school's theatre productions. While in High School, he developed a love for hosting and started his own internet radio station, broadcasting from his parent's basement. Upon graduating, he went on to study Television and Radio broadcasting at Columbia College Chicago and graduated with summa cum laude in 2014.

Erik was born in Bartlett, Illinois to parents Virginia and Richard Zachary. He is the only child.
