Escape is a 2015 drama short film directed by Liza Rachenko and produced by Dima Rachenko.[1] It stars Alex Rachenko and Vladimir Rachenko as the main protagonists of the film. The film participated in the 2016 Cannes Film Festival selection.[2][3] The film received positive feedback from the critics, however after dealing with some copyright issues, the film was taken off multiple websites. The film is not currently available to the public due to preceding issues of the film being copies and posted on social media without the film owner's permission.

Plot[edit]

"Escape" follows a young girl who decides to flee her hometown in her search for happiness. The film takes place in the following countries: Ukraine and the United Emirates. The audience follows the girl's journey as she finds her life values, peace, and purpose.
