Early career[edit]
Estelle Fly was a member of Singapore's first anime girl group MYnT in 2010, and a member of disbanded Singaporean-Malaysian Japanese idol group Sea*A from 2011 to 2013.[1][2] As a part of Sea*A, Estelle Fly has performed alongside artists such as Babymetal and Big Bang's Seungri. The group also landed gigs that included Animax Musix at the iconic Yokohama Arena in 2011 & 2012. They released four singles, one mini-album and a full album during her time in Japan under HoriPro - one of the largest talent agencies and independent music publisher in the country.[3]
Solo work[edit]
On 31st January 2018, Estelle Fly broke into the Singaporean music scene with her first digital single, ‘Blue’, a groovy R&B pop track about a girl's first encounter with unrequited love. The single was produced by Osaka-based producer Soleil Soleil and Jason Gelchen of Singapore’s Homegrown Studios.[1][2]
Estelle Fly continues to expand her online media presence through her YouTube channel that has gained a loyal following of 5,500 subscribers to date. Her influence also extends to Instagram where she has amassed more than 9,000 followers.[3]
She also made her acting debut as the lead actress for the Toggle series ‘Emerald Hill High’ in February 2019[4], cementing her identity as a triple threat in the entertainment industry.
Signed with Zendyll Records in January 2019, she is set to release her debut single as their first-signee in June 2019.[3][5]
Artistry[edit]
Estelle Fly combines K-Pop sensibilities with a blend of R&B and dance beats, and her influences range from IU to Ariana Grande. [3]
