Hor Ying Ying (Chinese: 何盈莹; pinyin: Hé Yíngyíng; born January 28, 1995) is a Singaporean actress under MediaCorp. She is best known for being the runner-up of the third season of talent-scouting competition Hey Gorgeous in 2015, and for starring as Rachael Chow in Run Rachael Run, a webseries.

Early life[edit]

Hor previously studied in Nan Hua High School, and is currently a student in National University of Singapore under the Faculty of Arts and Social Science. She started learning dancing at age 3, and used to dance at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Her highest ballet qualification is Advance Year 1, and she had also learned jazz, contemporary dance and Chinese dance.[1]

Career[edit]

Prior to being talent-scouted for Hey Gorgeous, Hor was scouted to join her faculty's beauty pageant at NUS Art Bash 2014, and won the title of “Miss Elegance” in 2014.[1]

In 2015, she was talent-scouted at her school to take part in Hey Gorgeous. Not only did she emerge as one of the top three contestants, she was also awarded the Best Smile Award.[2] Hor made her acting debut in 2016 by starring in Toggle web drama Run Rachael Run[3] and in Channel U infotainment show-drama Project W.
