Ethiopian Center For Disability and Development
The Ethiopian Center For Disability and Development (ECDD) is an Ethiopian civil society development organization, established in 2005. ECDD works with other organizations to promote and facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities and support their development.[1][2]
On May 17, 2019, ECDD re-registered with the Civil Society Organizations Agency as a local CSO with Registration № 0321 in accordance with the Organizations of Civil Societies Proclamation № 1113/2019. The ECDD envisions an inclusive Ethiopia where all citizens have equal access to health, educational, and social services, training, and employment opportunities, and children, youth, and adults with disabilities—regardless of gender or type of disability—as well as their parents and families.[3]
