Eubiotics

Eubiotics (Greek eu = good/healthy, bios = life) is the science of hygienic/healthy living.

The term is used in the feed industry where it refers to a healthy balance of the microbiota in the gastrointestinal tract.[1]

Bacteritic preparations intended for correction of biocenosis of the mucous membranes may be referred to as eubiotics.[2]

Feed additives such as probiotics, prebiotics, essential oils and organic acids are often referred to as eubiotics.
