EucA is a European network of University colleges, founded in 2008, that represents 79 halls of residence located in twelve European countries. It is based in Brussels, and promotes the acquisition of soft skills[1] and broader development of human and professional abilities. Its activities include the exchange of best practices among collegiate halls of residence, international student exchanges, the organization of international workshops and conferences, and cooperation with European institutions. EucA is a member of the European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL), and cooperates with European political institutions.[2][3] Globally it is one of the founding members of the International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS).[4]
