Eugene Fadiora (born June 1, 1988 in Wolverhampton) is a British mixed martial artist, who fights at Welterweight and Middleweight.

Biography[edit]

Fadiora took up Karate as a child, and studied it for ten years before moving on to kickboxing and grappling. He then took up mixed martial arts and holds a 9-1 record as an amateur. He also holds a degree in law.[1]

When he became a professional, he won his first four fights in the first round by way of (T)KO or submission. He was then given the chance to fight on a televised card at BAMMA 1: The Fighting Premiership where he defeated Nathan Champ via unanimous decision. He controlled the fight, mostly in the striking but also on the ground.[2]

Fadiora went on to win his next four fights by stoppage, and was given another chance to fight in BAMMA. On September 25, he fought Icelandic prospect Gunnar Nelson at BAMMA 4: Reid vs. Watson and recorded the first loss of his career as he was submitted in the first round.[3]

Fadiora bounced back after his first loss, defeating Robert Devane by rear naked choke at BAMMA 7.[4]
