Eugenia Polyakova
Eugenia Polyakova (born July 11,1989) first Russian fashion blogger who was internationally recognized..[1], digital influencer and educational entrepreneur.
Born in Russia, she lived in Krasnodar for 24 years. She currently lives in Dubai[2] with husband Sergey Bespalov[3]. She has 300.000 subscribers on Instagram.
International recognition and career[edit]
Eugenia started her fashion blog "Applebum"[4] in 2008 when she was influenced by Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni. Eugenia started blog "Applebum" (named after ATCQ song "Bonita Applebum") in 2008 as a passion project. After getting a lot of attention on her social media channels, Eugenia turned her blog into a fashion, travel and lifestyle diaries[5].
In 2011 Eugenia became the first fashion blogger from Russia who was recognized internationally and was invited by Value Retail (creator and operator of The Bicester Village Shopping Collection in Europe and China) to Spain to be a part of Christmas video campaign and represent Russia[6].
In 2012 brand Nina Ricci invited Eugenia[7] to be a model for their international launch of Nina Ricci new fragrance "L'Eau" in Paris.
Eugenia has been representing Russia at annual events like Cannes Film Festival 2013[8], Monaco Grand Prix 2013[9] , Firenze4Ever by Luisa Via Roma in Florence, Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience 2014 etc.
In 2013 Eugenia launched her t-shirt line under italian brand OVS[10]
In 2014 Eugenia became a russian ambassador of Lancome x Alber Elbaz make-up collection "Lancome Show!"
In 2015 she appeared in campaign with global influencers for Swarovski[11]
Eugenia has collaborated with brands like Moschino, Dolce&Gabbana, Tom Ford, Lancome, Nina Ricci, Four Seasons, Kempinski, Ferrari Middle East, Rolls Royce Middle East, Lincoln etc.
Eugenia was interviewed for fashion magazines like Marie Claire Russia[1], L'Officiel Russia[12], Glamour Russia[13], Aeroflot Magazine[2] etc.
Dubai Chapter[edit]
In 2014 she was invited to United Arab Emirates as russian blogger by Dubai Tourism[14]. In October 2014 she has made a decision to move to Dubai[1] to collaborate with a local concept store The Cartel[2] and signed an exclusive contract with Bukhash Brothers celebrity management agency.
In Dubai she became a public figure representing both markets Russian and middle-eastern.
The Future Minds[edit]
In 2018 Eugenia and her partner Alina Poliakova started an educational platform The Future Minds, bringing the best courses for kids aged 9-16 years old to United Arab Emirates. The pioneer course is UK licensed KidsMBA[15] program which teaches children about entrepreneurship.
