The European Stroke Organization (ESO) is a non-profit knowledge-based professional association that facilitates the improvement and harmonization of standards of diagnosis and treatment of stroke. The ESO produces, organizes and supports many scientific and educational activities and products aimed at medical professionals wishing to increase their knowledge and update their skills. ESO works as the voice of stroke in Europe to bring about political change. The ESO focuses on European level projects while working toward global solutions. The ESO is a pan-European society of stroke researchers was founded in 2007.
