Eva Weigold Schultz is an American diplomat who was named chargé d'affaires a.i. in Switzerland and Liechtenstein in January 2021.[1]

Career[edit]

Schultz is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Minister Counselor.

In August 2019, Schultz was named Deputy Chief of Mission in Bern. She had previously served as Deputy Executive Secretary to the Secretary of State.

Schultz has served as Executive Assistant to the Under Secretary for Democracy and Global Affairs, Deputy Director for the Office of the Arabian Peninsula in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Executive Director of the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Council, and Director for Andean Affairs at the National Security Council.

Schultz has had overseas assignments in Tel Aviv, Dublin, Frankfurt, and Kingston.
