Evgeny Gennadievich Rozhkov (born October 18 1975, Penza) - Russian TV presenter and journalist. Host of the programme "Vesti" on the TV channel Russia-1.
Biography[edit]
Evgeny Rozhkov graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Penza State University.[1].
From 1992 to 1994 he worked as a DJ on the radio station Europe+ (Penza)
From 1994 to 2000, he worked as a correspondent, presenter, editor-in-chief of the Penza television and radio company “Nash Dom”.
In July 2000 he started working on the TV channel RTR/Russia/Russia-1 in the programme Vesti.
From June to January 2001 he was a war correspondent of Vesti, then from 2002 to 2003 he was a parliamentary correspondent.
From 2004 to 2015 he worked as a political commentator of the "Russia/Russia-1" channel, worked in the pool of President of Russia and Prime Minister of Russia.
In 2014-2017 he studied at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
From 2015, he worked as a presenter of the news programme "Vesti".
From December 21, 2015, he regularly conducted the programme Vesti at 20:00." From May 9 to 12, he hosted the programme paired with Irina Rossius, because Ernest Matskyavichus commented on the Eurovision-2016 contest in Stockholm.
