Brian Whittaker (born March 18, 1986), better known as Excel Beats, is an American record producer, recording artist, and songwriter.[1][2][1][2]Excel's first credited production work was in 2009 on Bone Thugs-n-Harmony single, "See Me Shine"[3][4][5], featuring Lyfe Jennings off of their eighth studio album entitled Uni5: The World's Enemy.[6][7][8] As of 2021, Whittaker co-founded Music Mergers and he is CEO of Flavawood Music.[9]

Career

Throughout his career, Whittaker has worked with numerous artists and projects including DJ Silk, Dr. Dre, Oprah: Where Are They Now, So You Think You Can Dance, Heavy D, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kendall + Kylie Jenner and several others.[10][11] He made a remix version of the song Don't Take Your Love Away by Russian American Popra vocalist Yulianna which charted on the Billboard Dance/Club Songs Chart.[12]
