Excelsior
Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Excelsior is a Progressive Rock/Metal one-man project fronted by guitarist and vocalist, Eros Spataro, from Manchester, England.
Initially formed in late 2019 with a highschool friend and keyboard player with the intentions of completing a band, the duo began composing music influened by Styx, Dream Theater, Queen, Iron maiden and others, fueled by passion and eager to make people enjoy progressive and heavy music.
After months of rehearsing, honing technical skills and composing, they decided to go to music college together in Manchester, and did so in september of 2020. Not long after finding a drummer there, keyboardist left the band due to personal differences with Eros Spataro, whom would continue playing as a duo with drummer. The duo spent the next few weeks rehearsing and jamming, playing mostly Led Zeppelin covers and original jams. In those weeks, their debut single, 20 Vision, Part I was finished and ready to be recorded at a local studio. They would record an unfinished demo of the song together, but soon after Eros decided to withdraw from the college course and pursue music independently. Excelsior was then effectively, just Eros Spataro, nevertheless he recorded 20 Vision, Part I on his own and released it independently.
